Today on our 2008 Toyota Tundra, we'll be testing the convertible cushion ball mount for 2-inch hitches, with a 1-inch riser 2-inch drop, rated at 14000 pounds, part number AMSC2HD. To begin our test fit, we first need to get our hitch height. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. We have a hitch height of 19 and a quarter inches. Now we're going to install our ball mount in our drop position. We'll slide the shape of our ball mount into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up the pin hole, and install our pin and clip. We'll take a measurement from the ground to the top of our ball platform. more

Today were working with a 2012 Toyota Highlander and were going to be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball cushioned ball mount, part number AMSC4. With a 14-3/4 inch hitch height, we probably wont want to use this ball mount in the drop position as it would set us down about 10 inches from the ground. more
